Common Room

Ever since I found the passion for designing and remodeling my house, I always make extra effort in sparing some time to look around and see what’s hip and hot in the home décor arena. This is to make sure that I don’t go out of style even when I am following my husband and children’s preferred themes. I also have a common room with no particular theme for houseguests that pay visits every once in a while. That specific area was designed based solely on my taste and not on anybody else’s.
LB’s blog meanwhile, said that it is important to consider the specific needs and requirements of the members of the family when designing or remodeling a room or the whole house for that matter. While there are young children around, it would be ideal to design your home in a child-friendly way, which will suit their unruly and raucous behavior. You can make your kid’s room playful while encouraging them to be creative by installing magnetic boards and blackboards in their rooms. You can be creative as well in choosing the pieces of furniture you will bring into your home by determining the four Ws— who, what, when, where.
